Responsibilities
You will develop and implement a strategy for regular penetration tests and vulnerability scans
You will conduct white-box, gray-box, and black-box tests of our IT infrastructure, web applications, and networks
You will analyze and evaluate identified vulnerabilities in terms of their criticality and potential impact
You will prepare detailed technical reports with clear recommendations for addressing security vulnerabilities
You will advise the IT and development teams on implementing secure development practices (“Security by Design”)
You will work closely with the IT operations, system administration, and software development teams
Profile
You hold a degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a comparable qualification obtained through relevant training and corresponding professional experience
You have practical experience in penetration testing and ethical hacking, particularly in conducting security tests for web applications in accordance with the OWASP Top 10
You are familiar with common security tools (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus / OpenVAS) and have knowledge of technical vulnerability management as well as the administration and configuration of SIEM / XDR solutions such as Wazuh
Technical certifications such as OSCP, GPEN, GWAPT, eJPT / eWPT, or comparable certifications are a significant advantage; certifications such as CISSP or CISM are desirable
You have a good command of scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automating tests
You are characterized by a proactive, solution-oriented approach to work, as well as a high degree of integrity and a strong sense of responsibility
Fluency in spoken and written German and English, as well as a willingness to travel occasionally to our locations, round out your profile
