I’m a live sound engineer and stage crew member with five years of experience and over 700 shows behind me, from 250 capacity clubs to 2,500 capacity venues. I recently moved from Nottingham to Berlin and I’m looking to get stuck into the live scene here.
I’ve spent most of my career doing the whole job on show day: loading in, building the stage, running cables, setting up PA and monitors, and then mixing the show. That means I know how a production fits together and what the crew around me needs. I work tidily, because a tidy stage is a safe stage, and I stay calm and methodical when something goes wrong.
I’m reliable, I turn up early, and I’m easy to work with. I enjoy being part of a crew and I get on well with artists, venue staff and touring teams alike.
Bildung
BSc (Hons) in Audio and Music Technology. Covered live sound reinforcement, studio recording and mixing, acoustics, signal processing, and audio electronics. Gained hands-on experience with digital consoles, PA system setup and tuning, microphone technique, and DAW-based production, alongside practical project work on live events and studio sessions.

Freelance front of house and monitor engineer for venues, bands and event organisers, on shows up to 2,500 capacity. Over 700 shows mixed in five years across house and freelance work. Experienced on Allen & Heath SQ and dLive consoles and L-Acoustics, d&b audiotechnik and Martin Audio PA systems. Handle system setup, RF coordination, soundcheck and show mixing, and lead crew where needed. Also capture multitrack live recordings from the desk and mix them afterwards. Artists mixed include James Taylor Quartet, The Necks, Celeste, The Haggis Horns.
House engineer at a 250-capacity live music venue, responsible for the sound on every show from load-in to pack-down. Mixed FOH and monitors for touring and local acts, mainly jazz, funk and soul. Maintained and upgraded the venue's audio system, including rewiring the signal chain, cable repair and fault finding. Also operated stage lighting on a ChamSys MagicQ console.
